I am trying to find out if doing surveys online is a legitimate way to make a little income?

I am a stay at home mom and I have been tirelessly searching for something to do from home part time where I could make a little bit of income. This search has been ongoing for a number of years, and I feel at my wits end. Are online surveys legitimate? If not any suggestions?

   They are legit but you earn very little money for doing them. The bad thing about doing online surveys is not qualifying for them and they can get quite boring at times. If you still want to try them out, you can try the one below.

   No they don’t work, like at all. I even set up a "junk" e-mail just to try them out, i’ve used like 10 or more different sites, and i got nothing. m most was like 2.00 per survey and they’d send me like 2 or 3 a week, and most of them i didn’t even qualify for, half of them were for the age groups of 13 and 16, and i mean what 13 year old buy household stuff like 5 out 100. I mean really doesn’t it sound all fake? like if a big organization really wanted feed back they wouldn’t go for random people who may or may have not used the product. i mean u know. sorry just trying to help. and most survey places do the whole your survey will be entered in a to monthly give away, type thing that one one ever win. and any testimonials u see on their sites are from the people who work there. like ,"wow i just made 300 dollar from taking survey" sorry ur out of luck.

   I started an online web business last year and now it makes about $2000 per month. I tried a number of different things, until I found a niche that works. One of my sites can be found at http://www.securitycameratutor.com – it offers advice on security cameras.

   Forget about all of the get rich quick offers that are floating around – they are mostly BS – if it sounds to good to be true, it is.

   My recommendation is that you read "The Four Hour Work Week" – this book filled my head with ideas on how to improve my income. It is all about making money online, but doing it in such a way that you only have to work a few hours a week. Fun to read, and some of the concepts explored really do work.

   Doing online surveys is a legitimate way to make an extra income, thing is most of the sites out there send you money after you accumulate a minimum amount of cash (around 100$-150$) . There is a catch here, because most people will lose interest after a short while and give up before they even get their first payment (a win-win situation for these sites). Thats why you should be careful which sites you register into. I would recommend sites that pays high commissions for each survey and a low minimum of cash to accumulate.
